Welcome Back

I am so glad to start the 2013-2014 school year. I attended a literacy academy this summer and cannot wait to implement what I have learned. I think incorporating literacy in the science classroom will be a huge benefit to your students. Science Club Dues

Remember Science Club dues are to be paid by this Friday, August 31, 2012.  If you do not pay the dues by this date you will not be in science club for the 2012-2013 school year.  Dues are $15.00 and are used to buy club t-shirts and supplies for lab activities.

Testing Countdown!!!

Hope everyone had a good spring break!! The next month will be extremely busy as we finish up content and review for end of year testing.  Keep up with your assignments, you don't want to get in a hole.

Christmas Break!!

It is great to be back in school.  I hope everyone had a restful Christmas Break.  Everyone starts the new nine weeks with 2 hall passes and 1 late work pass, these turn into bonus points on the final average if they are not used.  Come prepared for class with your homework and you'll receive 3 bonus points each nine weeks.

Test Retakes

I wanted to let everyone know that students are allowed to retake any test or quiz.  You may stay with the flight program or make an appointment with me.  I also am available every Wednesday after school to tutor.
We have several that have taken advantage of this.  Please make sure that you study your old test before you stay for a retake!!

7th Grade Math - New Quiz Policy

I'm starting a new quiz policy for my 7th Grade Math class.  After we take our homework grade and go over the answers to the problems we will take a daily quiz.  This quiz will consist of 5 problems from the homework assignment.  They will be 10 point quizzes.  This will make sure that everyone understands the importance of completing homework, and paying attention when we go over the correct answers.  It will also allow me to correct any common mistakes I see occurring.  Make sure you are doing your homework!!!!
